A Pacific Northwest Native

I was raised in a small town in central Idaho, and have lived in the Pacific Northwest my entire life. After graduating from high school, I went to secretarial school and worked as a legal secretary for many years while also taking college classes. I obtained a business degree, summa cum laude, from Lewis Clark State College, and my juris doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Idaho College of Law. I am licensed to practice in both Idaho and Washington state and federal courts.

My Legal Career

Prior to relocating to the Vancouver area and joining Henderson Law, I was a partner in Clark and Feeney in Lewiston, Idaho. My practice is dedicated to representing people who have suffered major damages as a result of the negligence of others. I have been involved in numerous multi-million-dollar personal injury and medical malpractice cases, and am committed to achieving verdicts and settlements that will help our clients rebuild lives that have been shattered by tragic events.

Professionally, I have been a member of the American Bar Association, the Idaho and Washington State Bar Associations, and the Idaho and Washington State Trial Lawyers Associations. I have served on the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association board of directors, and have held many offices in local bar associations and in the American Inns of Court. After attending the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in Wyoming (where I met my law partner and husband, Paul), I was selected to serve on their staff and have taught trial advocacy at many Trial Lawyers College seminars around the country. In addition, I frequently teach at the University of Idaho College of Law trial advocacy program.

Giving Back

My volunteer activities have been focused primarily on children’s issues and education. I have been a member of the board of directors of the Northwest Children’s Home, Valley Boys and Girls Club, Lewiston Independent Foundation for Education, the Lewis Clark State College Foundation, and am currently a member of the University of Idaho College of Law – Law Advisory Council.
